First Annual Menstrual Product Drive:

Supporting Cycles. Strengthening Community.

Menstrual products are among the most frequently requested items at food banks and shelters, yet they aren’t covered by SNAP. When someone doesn’t have the pads or tampons they need, it can be incredibly hard to leave the house for work, school, errands, or childcare — limiting daily life in ways many of us never see.

Most people begin menstruating around age 12 and continue until about age 51 — nearly four decades of needing consistent, reliable supplies every single month. With an average of 3–7 bleeding days per cycle and a typical use of roughly 20 products per month, that adds up to about 260 pads or tampons each year.

For those already facing financial strain, this recurring cost can be overwhelming. Your donation helps meet a basic need that supports dignity, comfort, and full participation in daily life.

As the team at Footprints Food Pantry shares: “When people have what they need to care for themselves, they can show up more fully in their lives, their families, and their communities.”

Brittany Lee Wellness will match the first 15 boxes donated and all donations will go to Footprints Food Pantry in Kittery.
